Dr. Hutto and his trusty staff enjoy Baton Rouge and the surrounding area so much they love to share community events with their patients. Being part of the community is a great way to socialize, keep busy, meet new people, have new experiences, and fight the winter blues. Holiday Things To Do This Week

Noël Acadian Village (Lafayette): If you are not averse to a family road trip, the Noël Acadian Village in Lafayette is well worth seeing. Not only is it a festive holiday event, its proceeds benefit persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. That’s right, it’s the36th Annual Christmas festival fundraiser and it features half-a-million lights, including a fully-lit Open Door Chapel, themed Acadian-home porches, lighted holiday displays, live entertainment, carnival rides, local cuisine, photos with Santa and holiday shopping at The Village Christmas Store where you can find Cajun crafts, local artwork, tasty treats, holiday decor, children's toys and trinkets, stocking stuffers, and so much more!

Denham Springs Bass Pro Santa’s Wonderland: Whether you are a Bass Pro shopper or not, their Santa’s Wonderland is worth a visit. Gather the family and bring your smiles for a free photo with Santa, take a ride on the Wildlife Carousel, play games, and enjoy crafts and activities that celebrate the season. Bring your wish list, too, and shop for gifts for folks of all ages, and toys for kids of all ages!
